
Dr. Keith Marmer has cultivated a distinguished career spanning over three decades as an entrepreneur, executive, and investor, with a focus on corporate and entrepreneurial strategy and technology development. Currently, he is the Managing Partner of UVB Capital, a venture fund dedicated to partnering with early-stage life science companies.
Prior to his role at UVB Capital, Keith served as Chief Innovation & Economic Development Officer at the University of Utah, where he garnered international recognition for the university as a leader in commercialization and start-up formation. During his tenure, he spearheaded the launch of 70 new companies, was responsible for approximately 3,500 transactional agreements, created five technology accelerators, a wet lab incubator, an entrepreneur-in-residence program, and an early-stage venture fund.
Keith also played a pivotal role in elevating Utah's life science ecosystem, collaborating with government and private sector leaders to achieve the fastest growth rate per capita in the nation. His entrepreneurial roots include co-founding SG3 Ventures, a life science venture fund, and establishing two life science companies, PT Plus and PhysioMetrics, the latter becoming the largest provider of functional capacity testing services in the U.S.
