ELI’s former President Bree Langemo conducted an interdisciplinary entrepreneurial mindset workshop at Ferris State University’s inaugural Student Success Summit. Faculty, staff, and administrators from a large variety of areas attended the workshop to learn how to incorporate an entrepreneurial mindset into student success initiatives.

A public-private partnership between the city of St. Petersburg and the local chamber of commerce is launching an eight-week course for leaders of nonprofit organizations aimed at helping them find creative and resourceful ways to bring in additional revenue. ELI Director of Training & Operations, Joanie Weber, attended Harvard’s Emerging Leader Program with participants from over fourteen countries. Harvard’s Emerging Leader Program cultivates leadership skills in the areas of strategy, financing, and marketing. The program is ongoing with online components where the teams continue to work together on selected projects.

Marshall County Correctional Facility Inmates’ Ice House Project

OXFORD, Miss. – Students and faculty from the University of Mississippi Department of Legal Studies recently joined forces with the Marshall County Correctional Facility in Holly Springs to pack more than 100,000 meals in one day for an organization that helps needy children.
