Over the course of the past academic year in Ireland, 39 students at Kenmare Community School, or Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine, completed the Ice House Student Success Program. Bree Langemo has decided to step down as ELI president. Her life partner has accepted a great position as President & CEO of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation. Bree and her family will be moving to Fargo, North Dakota, her hometown, where her extended family resides. On Thursday, May 31 at 10 a.m., students from Woodrow Wilson, Strong Vincent, and East Middle Schools participated in the Ice House Showcase Event at the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center at Mercyhurst University. The event included a student forum presentation, display tours, and a panel discussion. PrepaTec students completed their Entrepreneurial Leadership course in their final semester of high school. The course is based on ELI’s Ice House Student Success Program. Students are guided to strengthen and transform their mindset, developing an entrepreneurial mindset that is focused on identifying and solving social and commercial problems.
