Entrepreneurship in Education: Adjusting a Community Mindset with CareerSource and Daytona State College

Dr. Sherryl D. Weems, Charlie Howell, and Robin King

In this webinar, CareerSource and Daytona State College leaders join Gary to discuss how they are empowering their community.

To provide access to prosperity for all in their community, CareerSource Flagler Volusia, the local workforce development board, and Daytona State College, a comprehensive Florida State College, have both implemented ELI Entrepreneurial Mindset training. By either teaching it as a standalone skill set, pairing it with career and technical education, empowering employed workers, or integrating into young adult programs, the leadership of these two entities have a common goal. To equip their community with the mindset that will propel them forward in personal and career empowerment pursuits equitably.
