Entrepreneurship will be the theme of the Eggs, Issues & Economics breakfast being presented by the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, the city and Opportunity Stanislaus next week.
Speaking at Wednesday’s breakfast will be Bree Langemo, president of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative. ELI creates “entrepreneurial mindset” education programs and training services for academic institutions, corporations, and governmental and other organizations. The breakfast program, at the Turlock Golf & Country Club, is in large part about empowering young people, Moss said.
“This is a national model being discussed, not just here,” she said. “So many of these kids come out of school with a great education but no entrepreneurial mindset. We’re all talking about ways to not only educate them here but create jobs and a future for them here.”
