Leading with Entrepreneurial Governance

Entrepreneurship reaches far beyond the concept of traditional business creation and small business management. Entrepreneurship is a mindset; a framework for thinking and acting that can empower individuals and government agencies to thrive in the 21st Century. An entrepreneurial mindset can engage government workers to take ownership of their work and innovate within governmental agencies by cultivating curiosity and creativity, critical thinking, complex problem solving, and collaboration – skills that drive individual and organizational success. And, an entrepreneurial mindset can empower leaders by exposing new opportunities, igniting ambition, and fostering innovation in highly ambiguous, resource-constrained environments. In this webinar, participants will:

  • Redefine entrepreneurship in way that is both relevant and broadly accessible;

  • Understand how entrepreneurial attitudes, behaviors, and skills can develop the skills needed to thrive in the 21st Century;
  • Determine how entrepreneurial cultures can be cultivated by instilling entrepreneurial thought and process in organizational work; and
  • Learn how an entrepreneurial mindset is being practiced in the City of Albuquerque

Webinar Panelists:

Gary Schoeniger, Founder & CEO, The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative

Tom Darling, Division Manager, City of Albuquerque’s Public Service University
